Regina Fringe Festival returns July 11-15

Regina’s annual Fringe Festival is a 5 day celebration of arts and culture from around the world! This year’s celebration takes place from July 11^th to 15^th. If you love music, theatre, and art, don’t miss this incredible event, featuring an eclectic mix of everything from spoken word and theatre to magic shows, musicals, and dance. It’s a great way to support independent artists and creatives and expose yourself to unique and thought-provoking performances you won’t see anywhere else.
 
This year’s performance lineup has not yet been announced, but it’s sure to be impressive based on the track record of the festival in previous years. 2017’s festival included daily programming from 1:15 pm until late, meaning that there are up to 30 performances, activities, and events daily.
 
Performances and activities are hosted in various venues all around Regina, so attending the Fringe Festival is a great way to explore the city and its various neighbourhoods!
 
For the festival, artists from 36 provincial, national, and international independent touring companies come to Regina to perform. The Fringe Festival is presented each year by the Regina International Open Theatre Society (R.I.O.T.S.), which is a community-based, non-profit corporation committed to providing high-quality arts and culture programming for all. This event is also mindfully designed and planned to be affordable and accessible for all, and although some content may be more suitable for adults, there is plenty of all-ages programming if you’d like to bring along the whole family!
