Regina is a great town that knows how to keep life wonderful!
REGINACADABRA MAGIC FESTIVAL
There’s nothing like seeing a trick performed by a great magician in person – even if you don’t “believe” in magic per se, a well-performed piece of magic can take your breath away, suspend your disbelief and if only for a second, make you question if magic is actually real. That’s why this July, Regina hosts ReginaCadabra, a four-day magic festival at various venues all over town from July 25 to July 28. Featuring shows for a variety of audiences, from family-friendly to adult only, this is one of North America’s premier magic festivals.
Want to see a show with the kids? Catch Danny Kazam perform his children’s magic show; Danny’s act was inspired by classic entertainers like Mr. Rogers and Mr. Dressup, and he will fill your child’s mind with wonder!
What to blow your own mind? Buy a ticket to see Chris Funk – The Wonderist. A contestant on America’s Got Talent, as well as both Penn and Teller’s Fool Us and Wizard Wars, none other than David Copperfield, has been spotted in the audience at a Wonderist show!
Like your magic with a bit of humour? Then you need to see Matt Gore, AKA “The Ginger Ninja,” a South African entertainer who combines compelling magic with a hilarious stage show that will have you doubled over!
And that’s not all – not by a long shot. There will also be a host of some of the world’s best magicians vying to amaze you, not to mention workshops, talks, demonstrations and more. It’s all a lot of fun and well worth visiting!
