Valentine's Day is almost here and there are plenty of ways to celebrate in Regina! From high tea at a local cafe to spending a romantic evening ice skating, check out the top ways to spend Valentine’s Day 2022 in Regina.

Indulge in High Tea at Cafe Francis

Make a reservation to enjoy high tea at Cafe Francis in Regina! For one day only on Sunday, February 13th, they are opening their doors and hosting a three-course high tea experience. High tea at Cafe Francis costs $55 per person + tax and reservations must be made ahead of time. Items on the menu include everything from a golden raisin tea biscuit and a pomegranate tar to a French macaron and an egg salad brioche sandwich.

Go Skating Outdoors

Spend this Valentine’s Day outdoors by taking your partner ice skating. Regina is home to several outdoor skating rinks, including Wascana Park’s brand new, state-of-the-art rink. Other options include Grassick Playground Outdoor Rink, Leslie Park Rink, W F Ready Park Rink, or Westhill Park Rink. Or, to make a day of it, plan an afternoon trip to Echo Valley Provincial Park (roughly 1 hour from Regina).

Enjoy a Romantic Sleigh Ride

Think outside the box this Valentine’s Day by planning a romantic sleigh ride for you and your partner. The Wascana Centre is hosting horse & carriage rides on February 12th and 13th only, between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. It is first-come, first-serve and reservations cannot be made in advance, however, there will be a waiting list.

If you’re going to be in Regina this V-Day, then we suggest planning something special for you and your partner. And if you need somewhere to stay during your trip, or are looking for the ultimate staycation destination in Regina, look no further than the Days Inn by Wyndham Regina Airport West. We combine luxe amenities and a warm, romantic atmosphere with a convenient location near the Regina airport.
